Welcoming Your New Driver Brochure Set

Welcoming Your New Driver

A new three–brochure set, Welcoming Your New Driver, is geared toward teens and their parents and targets the key issues that both parties must face as the new driver in the family moves from driveway to highway.

These brochures help parents and teens address the responsibilities that come along with driving and to clearly define expectations to minimize risk. The first brochure, titled, Welcoming Your New Driver, is geared toward parents and stresses how parents can support and play a significant role in developing their teen's responsible driving skills.

The second brochure, Becoming the New Driver in Your Family, is for teens and provides information to enhance teens' driving knowledge and further their understanding of the responsibilities that come along with vehicle ownership and operation.

The third brochure titled, Driving Contracts, contains two driving agreements – one Parent–to–Parent and the other Parent–Teen. The contracts are designed to get families of teens to work together to help protect teen drivers and to help parents and teens set forth driving responsibilities and identify driving rules and regulations.
